Blessings to you and your families,
 
To God be the glory!  I now have a beautiful place to call home that I am renting, a car and our water project was approved!  I will be returning to Nigeria a little earlier than I usually travel and will bring back to you the smiles of the people that will benefit from the solar well. 
 The well is being sponsored by Rotary International  and it is the result of the time and efforts of Mike Razza, Mike Thorton (both Rotarians from Massachusetts), Bonaventure Ezeji-the engineer, Odinakachukwu Ibebuike-a Rotarian of the sponsoring club in Nigeria and those of you who drove me around for rotary presentations over the last 2 ½ years. I pray I never take for granted how readily available  clean water is for me now that I am back in the US.  I contemplate how one flush of my toilet uses the same amount of water that  one person/family in my villages may use all day for washing, cleaning, cooking and drinking- ONE BUCKET OF CONTAMINATED WATER -water that causes parasite infections contributing to death, malnutrition, diarrhea, anemia and delayed growth. Their reality along with the image of the children's swollen bellies is imprinted on my mind and heart.
 
So it is with a grateful heart I send you this e-mail along with a few pictures.  It will be to my pleasure that my next e-mail will be with pictures from the groundbreaking of the well being installed in Nigeria.
